Yesterday morning I messaged someone I met a couple of years ago who told me he’s a member of AA. By the end of the day, he’d called. In the evening, he drove across town to meet me at a meeting I’d located.

This morning I started reading the Big Book. What I’ve read… cravings are the difference between a normal person and an alcoholic. If this is true… I am an alcoholic.

I also read about alcoholics actually having an allergy to alcohol. I’m not sure I believe that but I’m open to it.

I went to Facebook for feedback on the cravings idea. My post has received some wonderful comments.

I’ve been in touch with Amy who was loving, my brother who was frustrated, Tammy who congratulated me… we’ll see!

I’m getting in the shower soon and ready to help Meg in the basement. When she’s ready.
