A quick note as I'm getting ready to pull sausage out of the oven and jump in the shower. I've been working since 6am and having a productive day already!
Yesterday... because of a mix up with meds I was super slow in the morning and didn't get much done but a nice nap fixed it. Dropped in spirit Halloween and party city on way to have dinner with my kids. And food lion, to get s'more fix'ns, candy and firewood to go with giveaway at Thursday's event. Gabby awesomely had lots of Halloween decorations borrowing for booth setup. It's coming together.
Dinner with my kids was awesome. They had friends over and they're all just so warm to me. So grateful. Both of Kalob's friends offered to help me pick up a sofa this week if things don't work perfectly with Kalob. Today's the day I hope to find the replacement because he's picking up my broken couch. He'll get the new one too if I'm lucky enough. So excited! I know I'm rambling but in a hurry!
Last night got a lot of pricing done online and ordered the most adorable favors for Sunday's shower. Won't say what they are in case the kids happen to read this post. Let there be at least one little surprise! ❤️❤️ Can't believe the shower's here!
Sadly, today would have been my 19th wedding anniversary. Life is so different! I'm proud of the years committed to the relationship, wish things could have ended better, if they needed to end, proud of E for all he's accomplished since our separation, and very, very grateful he may be ready to be friends. We'll take it slow if he's ok.
Ten stops planned this morning... furniture store, party city for Day of the Dead costume and backdrop for Thursdays event. Finally made a decision. Data entry possibly for work, overdue.
Still need to order a cake!
